Welcome and News from the CM

Martin Maenza

World of Maenza: Online #6

Making sure your heart will be light this holiday season, Martin Maenza drops not one, not two, but THREE Protectors stories in your stocking ("In a New Light", "Revenge Against a Renegade", and "Morning of a Mourning"), bringing you more early adventures of some of the World of Maenza's defenders. Plus, there are character pages added for "Larynx" (Then and Now edition) and the space-faring "Omni-Lords". And as if WOM goodies weren't good enough, it's time for a trip back into the 'Times classic shared-world universe...Omniverse! The world that 'Timers built is back, thanks to an all-new Lodestone story ("Airplane!") from Martin. Let's hope this is the start of a new life for the 'Verse!

Dave Mattingly

Power Point #4

Everyone's favorite holiday "Hero" Dave is back with a new edition to his online zine. This time around, his group is taking a break from their Foundation campaign and getting into a little Teen Champions, and Dave tells us all about it. Plus he's got news on how he (Storck will be so jealous) actually got on stage with Drew Carey's Improv All-Stars! He's got the latest news on what's up with Blackwyrm Games (Fires of War is now in PDF format...and Dave shows you where to get it!), and in his regular character feature, Dave keeps it in the family by presenting his son's Champions character...Stretch Armstrong! Ok, if Stretch Armstrong's around, it's now officially Christmas...

Michael O'Connell

The "F" Word #5

You wanted Forte for Christmas? You GOT it. Loads of stuff this time around in the Forte universe of web sites. Mostly in Forte 2000, where there are two (that's more than one!) new Forte 2000 issues ("Forte 2000 #147" and "Forte 2000 #148"), a new Forte 2000 fiction story that delves into the lives, minds and decisions of the new Forte heroes just before their darkest hour ("Interlude"), a MASSIVE rework on the Characters page of the site, introducing both a huge "NPC Guide" and a dastardly "Villain Guide", plus an avalanche of new art in the Forte 2000 Gallery page, including the nifty new "Forte 2000 Covers" section. And as if that wasn't enough, the Forte '05 page gets a new addition with the long overdue "Forge Chapter Two"! And people said the campaign was over. Ha!

K.C. Ryan

Son of Thunder #4

It's the Christmas edition of the zine that's always nice, and for this yuletide, K.C. brings you a snazzy holiday look with new Christmas art, three exciting new Americana stories (#50 - "The Secret Revealed!" (with a trip to Niagara Falls and a huge surprise for someone), #51 - "Queens of Steel" (where danger is in the cards for America's heroine against four of a murderous kind), and #52 - "Out to the Graveyard" (where Americana finds herself on a very restful battlefield...)), and, what do you know, ANOTHER huge update to the Americana art gallery!

Aaron Storck

"Family Matters"

"Mistletoe and Holly"

Forte 2000 NPC Guide

It's a pair of Forte 2000 tales centered on Dyna Girl...but with PLENTY of other guest-stars. Jump in and check out the action-packed, edge-of-your-seat "Family Matters" for loads of Forte character moments (new heroes and old!) and big-time bone-crunching combat! And then, for your holiday pleasure, leave your cares right at the stairs and unwrap "Mistletoe and Holly", a Dyna Girl Christmas story, where merriment, mayhem, shocks and surprises await. And also check into the new Forte 2000 NPC Guide, where Aaron wrote many of the all-new bios...including most of Armor Security! The secrets of L.A.'s premiere heroes-for-hire revealed!
