Dave
Mattingly
Power Point #9
Bringing toys to all geek
girls and boys, Dave's zine is back in action with all-new
stocking-stuffers. He hits us with reports on the two GenCon
games he ran--"Champions BYOB (Bring Your Own Brick)"
and "The Algernon Files: Something Sinister This Way
Comes"--as well as the "Champions Can of Whupass"
game he played in. There's big news about Blackwyrm Games'
"The Algernon Files" Hero System book (it's out!),
and he wraps things up with a write-up on the batty "Doctor
Chiropterus". |

World
of Maenza: Online #12
All I want for Christmas
is my W.O.M.... Martin's ringing in the holidays with exciting
new action in the World He Made (tm), AND some hot Omniverse
action! First, in the W.O.M., the Protectors return in "Ambushed
in Haygner Manor!", the last of the classic tales (which
opens the door to all-new tales...woo hoo!), and as per usual,
there's supplemental material for the story, this time in
the form of writeups for Dr. Delirium and The Golden Greek.
Then, over in Martin's corner of the Omniverse, Lodestone
is back and continuing her journey to Del Oeste and her historic
team-up with Tag & Dream Girl in "Vacation (Part
2): California Split), with a bonus villain write-up of the
tale's nemesis, Tremor! |

The "F"
Word #11
Because you demanded it
(at least, one guy in the United Arab Emirites did. Seriously,
he did..), your Christmas wish has come to pass...WINDJAMMER
RETURNS! From the world of ConTinuum (home of Americana),
Phoenix, Arizona's high-flying hearthrob is back in an all-new
(and years in the making) adventure! First, the Windjammer
site is fully updated, with ALL the classic WJ adventures
now available online. Plus, there's a handy summary of the
tales to get old readers back up to speed. There's an all-new
Windjammer Gallery with brand-new stunning Windjammer art.
But most importantly, "Windjammer Chapter Nine: Hollywood
Nights" is on deck, the continuation (finally!) of the
"Shane and Jerry's Excellent Adventure" storyline.
Still in L.A., and getting even deeper into temptation, romance,
celebrities and heartache, the boys spend the night BEFORE
the night before Christmas dealing with their own dividing
paths and personal demons. Can their friendship (and L.A.)
survive what's to come? And in Forte, there's (of course)
lots of new Forte art in the F2K Gallery, and the tale of
Dyna Girl and Matt continues, with some unexpected and tragic
turns, in "Hotline 6: 9-1-1". |

Son
of Thunder #10
Red and green...pheh! We'll
take red, white and blue! K.C. decks the halls with lots of
Americana...five new tales for you to unwrap! There's major
happenings in these latest offerings, starting with a talk
with Rebecca Kane in "Answers - And Questions",
a timely twist in "The Paradox Machine", the historic
75th ANNIVERSARY ISSUE of Americana that takes our heroine
to "The End of Time", a race AGAINST time in "The
Mad Rook's Gambit", and a grand finale in "The Quest
for Home". That beats a lump of coal, don't it? And a
final gift...all new Americana art! |
Aaron
Storck
"...
The Sorceror's Apprentice"
Let it snow, let it snow,
let it snow...all OVER Seattle! The man from Forte Town manages
to dig his way out of his way-too-white Christmas to drop
a MEGA Forte 2000 story down our chimney! Aaron bridges Forte
old and Forte new with an action-packed adventure called "...
The Sorceror's Apprentice"! The first Forte 2000 tale
set in 2006, this one heralds (hark!) the return of a way-too-familiar
classic Forte villain (did the title give it away?), and three
evil adepts bent on inheriting his vast power...with the heroes
of Forte stuck right in the middle! Don't get Scrooged and
miss out! |
