Welcome and News from the CM

Martin Maenza

World of Maenza: Online #15

I know what Martin did THIS summer…he gave us an-all new load of World of Maenza wonder! First up in the W.O.M. itself, your favorite young heroes, the Protectors, are back in action in two exciting new issues—#17 – “Enter: The Assassin”, and #18 – “To Find a Killer”. Character sheet and background are provided for the Assassin to supplement the tales, and scan-happy Martin has you “covered” with a gallery of classic Protectors covers from way back in the 80s! While over on the Omniverse side of things, we get a brand-new Lodestone tale called “I Know What You Did Last Summer”, followed by the debut of the Lodestone Art Gallery! Put on some sunscreen and bask in the rays of Martin’s latest ‘Times Online zine.

Dave Mattingly

Power Point #12

In a summer of big blockbusters, Dave Mattingly decides to go small…by presenting his shrinking character, Micro, the tiny super-spy. He also lets us know what’s up with his campaign (and America’s favorite super-hero reality show!) and lets us know the latest haps at BlackWyrm Games, including a preview of Scott Bennie’s “Gestalt: The Hero Within”!

Michael O'Connell

The "F" Word #14

You asked for it (you did?), and you got it! The long-awaited completion, and now complete redesign, of Forte.com is here! Log in just like a Forte hero and check out this simulation of the Forte base computer. Drop into the Forte Chat Room (and read a chat transcript where a historic discussion about the Forte 2000 heroes took place). Browse the Forte message boards (and read posts about an upcoming heroic poker game). Check out “real” Forte email (including one from Dr. Jackal to Mist). Scan the Forte Database (and learn the secrets of Vanguard’s bachelor party). Take a gander at the Team Files page and learn about Forte heroes. Roam the Links page and check out Forte-world web links. Access the Base Systems and take control of the Forte base itself. Make video calls to other Forte world heroes…or the White House! Peruse the Forte calendar for upcoming Forte birthdays and events. You have full access, and you are go! Plus, Mr. O’Connell brings you an update to the Forte 2000 art gallery, and the Forte Post-Campaign Timeline is fully updated as well. Now THAT’s Forte summer lovin’!

K.C. Ryan

Son of Thunder #13

And with Independence Day almost upon us, it wouldn’t be summer without some new Americana! K.C. Ryan brings back the patriotic powerhouse for some all-new adventures. First, it’s old friends (and old enemies) in “Jurassic Dork”. Then Americana must get an earful of the deadly and all-powerful (just ask him) Sean Strickland…”Son of Sonic Man”! And then there’s plenty more than cotton candy and barkers for Americana to confront in “The Carnival of Doom!”. And let your eyes feast on a whole bunch of new star-spangled works in the Americana Gallery! Let Mr. Ryan start your summer off right!
