H I S T O R Y
Born with extraordinary powers that he kept hidden, Bobby McMillan, with the help of his high school football coach, learned to control and develop them and became the Seattle super-hero Max, soon joining an all-new incarnation of the city's famed hero team, Forte...a new team that, on its first meeting, stopped an extra-dimensional invasion of Seattle, saved the lives of several earlier Forte members, and stopped a mystical global quake that would have leveled pretty much every city on Earth. After five years and much fame with that team (and helping save the world a couple of more times), Max made a very difficult life decision to leave Forte and his friends there behind and accepted an invitation from original Forte founding member Mist to come to San Francisco's aid and join a new hero team called Forge.

A B I L I T I E S
Max has super-humanly heightened strength and speed, can withstand large amounts of physical and energy damage, and has the ability to fly at great speeds. He can channel the energies within him into a massive telekinetic blast he refers to as "the Max Effect" (though this does leave him in a weakened state). After graduating college during his Forte years, Max has become a computer programmer, and is just beginning to reach his potential in this area.

P E R S O N A L I T Y
Max is a shy, unassuming and humble young man, who doesn't seem to see all the greatness in himself that others do. He can be naive at times, and not always quick on the uptake, but he has the heart of a true hero, a genuine love for all people, and an unshakeable dedication to doing what's right and making the world a better place.
