Peter Delles First Appearance: Forge:
Things Change, Chapter 3 (June, 2005) Peter Delles was born to be a confidence man. Mostly because of his confidence. He learned early that his charm and good looks could get him things he wanted, but he also had a streak of thrill-junkie in him. Nothing excited and challenged him more than creating a lie and seeing how far he could take it, and the rush he got from getting so far into one that it could all come apart at any moment was an addiction to him. These games of his soon turned into a way of life and a fantastic living, though the money was still secondary, to him, to the thrill. He'd created quite a career (with only minimal jail time) before he pulled the wrong con on the wrong person--a woman who ended up being a con herself who played him completely--and lost all he had. As he recovered from this blow to his ego and tried to rethink his life, he was approached by Harry Sullivan, who knew of his reputation, and offered him a way to feed his need without breaking the law (most of the time). Peter took it, and became a part of Nightwatch Solutions. His natural people skills and gift for conversation make him the perfect contact man and negotiator for them, but his flawless con work is his real asset to the group. Possessing a wry sense of humor and an unquenchable positive attitude, Peter makes things happen for Nightwatch...that it, when he's not dodging all the enemies he's made over the years in his exploits. |
