Capt. Addison Doyle, M.D.

Born to a well-to-do New England family, Addison Doyle graduated from Harvard Medical School before shocking his family and joining the military, becoming an Army surgeon. After his tenure with the Army was up, instead of settling into a cushy practice stateside, he began volunteering with various U.N. aid groups and treating victims of both war and disease in dangerous places around the world. His reputation got him a place in the SHIELD organization, where part of his duties was attending to SHIELD's super-powered strike team, THUNDER, and with the international villains they faced. It was there that he caught the eye of Commander Sydney Todd-Strange, who needed a doctor for UNCLE's San Francisco branch with catastrophic trauma experience (as her agents, standing alone against super-villains and other such threats, were in need of above-standard medical care), metahuman skills, and his kind of dedication. She somehow convinced him and SHIELD (pulling in all manner of favors) that San Francisco was where he was needed most. Addison is extremely well-educated, an exceptional doctor, and a no-nonsense man who's not afraid to speak his mind. He's saved the lives of many of San Francisco's UNCLE agents, and is respected and liked by all of them.
