Right now, I think I need to take a step back from things and think about my future. So, for a while, I don't think I'm going to be making any personal appearances. I know you will understand. Dalia was convinced that we'd be doing damage control for months after you decided to leave, but after all the nice things you said about the company, we're pretty sure that it'll be business as usual before long. Thanks again. Well, not business as usual, really. There are a lot of us here that miss you badly. And not just here at the office, apparently. Since you made your decision public, the phone calls, letters and e-mails have been pouring in. And you should see the flowers!!! Riptide gathered them all up and put them in the gym. Attached are the pics he took before Sarge made him clear them out. I hope you appreciate how jealous Shockwaive is. :) You know how she hates NOT being the center of attention. BTW, speaking of Shockwaive, I have to tell you that she has become your biggest booster recently. I'm serious!!! The other day one of the morning DJ's (I think it was Marco in the Morning) started mouthing off about you leaving, and then he started saying some... well... distasteful things about you and your performance in the sack as a reason for the breakup. ANYWAY... Shockwaive went down to the station, got on the air and after setting the jackass up with her "sexy kitten" routine, she DESTROYED the loser by telling his audience in fairly graphic terms about his bad hairplug job and his lack of "anatomy." It was priceless! Nathan blew a gasket and yelled at her about potential lawsuits and the like, but who cares. The a-hole got what was coming to him. I gotta run... Sarge has us training twice as much since you left. He says it's because we are shorthanded, but I think it's because he misses you too. Love from all, P.S. I promised Joey that I'd make sure that you got the card he wanted to give you. I'm overnighting it to you, so keep an eye out. He was so crushed when he got the news. He still cleans your office every day, insisting that you'll be back. I hope he's right.

Look, I'm not supposed to tell you this, but I want you to understand just how urgent this situation has become. Last night, your dad asked me to come by the museum after hours because he's extremely concerned about you. When I get there, it's a circus!! There are UNCLE agents and cops there asking questions. Hell, even Nightsable, Seahawk, and FREAKING Dr. Jackal are there to help. They all assume you are in some kind of danger. I spent most of the night talking with some guy from UNCLE named "Casey" about the last time we talked and stuff. I overheard one UNCLE agent say to another that he heard that your dad was going to call Vanguard in from New York to head up the search. I'd love to treat you to dinner as well. :) <<<<< I'm sorry I haven't updated the site like I had planned to, but I've had a lot on my mind lately. Most recently, I've had Diane Sanchez on my mind. Some of you may recognize the name Diane Sanchez. She founded the San Diego, CA chapter of the Dyna Girl Fan Club. Diane Sanchez died of cancer on August 28th at UCSD Medical Center. I was lucky enough to spend a couple of days with Diane before she passed. I met her wonderful parents and her best friend Alicia who now serves as President of our San Diego Chapter at Diane's request. They all told me so many wonderful stories about Diane, and Diane was often embarrassed, but they were beautiful stories. More often, though, Diane was in great pain as the disease inside her took it's course. But, as Alicia told me once, Diane never cried. But I cried. Diane made fun of me for it. In many ways she is so much stronger than anyone I ever met, including my very good friend Nightsable of Forte, who came with me to San Diego to spend some time with Diane. The four of us, Diane, Alicia, Nightsable and I, spent many hours together talking about many things that don't need to be discussed here. One of the things that the four of us discussed is something that I will share with you. As of September 1st, I am joining my friend Nightsable in Seattle as a member of Forte, along with Seahawk, Tinker, Rainier and Max. As one of the world's elite super teams it is an honor and privilege to be asked to join. I only hope that I am worthy of the privilege. More importantly, I hope I can live up to what Diane would have expected. Be good to yourselves and each other!
