Dave Carson

Graduating near the top of his class, everyone at the FBI knew that Special Agent Dave Carson's star was on the rise. His first assignment was in counter-espionage out of the D.C. field office, a rare assignment for an agent fresh out of the Academy. He made the mistake of taking up with the co-ed daughter of a powerful senator while on assignment in Washington. The senator, believing that his daughter deserved better than a federal employee, made a few well-placed calls and Carson soon found himself transferred to Cleveland, a known dumping ground for agents with no career opportunities ahead.

While there, he worked with Nathan James from the federal prosecutor's office and quickly came to consider the man a good friend. After James left his job with the prosecutor, Carson found his successor more interested in bargaining than in pursuing justice and looked to transfer out of the Cleveland office. Transfer opportunities to other dead-end offices over a number of years quickly soured Carson on a career with "The Bureau," and he left the FBI.

It was while working odd jobs, mostly as a private investigator or bounty hunter, that Dave Carson was contacted by his former associate Nathan James. It seemed that James had something going in Los Angeles. Something big.

Dave Carson is known around Armor as a guy that can get the answers no one else can. A sharp investigator with a rough edge, Carson knows his way around the streets as well as he knows how to talk his way into an exclusive social event. Despite his checkered past, he has proven himself several times over and justified the faith that Nathan James has placed in recommending him to lead Armor's field investigations team.
