Capt. Dane Casey

Obsessed with super-heroes since he was a kid, Dane Casey knew everything there was to know about every super-hero that had ever been. He set his sights on joining UNCLE early, double-majoring in criminal justice and metahuman studies. He joined the FBI strictly as a path to UNCLE, and succeeded in being accepted to the UNCLE Academy, where his encyclopedic knowledge of heroes and villains made him a stand-out to the organization (and a nerd to his fellow trainees). He was assigned to the Denver branch, but after two years had an opportunity to transfer to the gold ring of UNCLE assignments, the famed Seattle office, so rich with super-heroic history. He arrived as a corporal, and hadn't been in the office long when a group of new heroes--Tinker, Max and Seahawk, showed up for some information. The investigation they were following turned into the invasion of Seattle by a race called the Karrigon. With most of the office led outside the city by a ruse--and trapped outside, along with everyone else, due to a mystical bubble around the city--Corporal Casey was left the highest-ranking agent in the office. Having never been tested in the field, Dane stepped up, coordinating his two remaining agents, local police and other law enforcement, and anyone else he could find to mount a defense against the invaders while the heroes went after the means to stop the incursion. Heralded for his bravery and leadership that day, and suddenly a media darling, Dane was promoted to Captain, and, as the new heroes became a new Forte team, to the official new UNCLE Forte liaison. Dane faced resentment and a lack of confidence from his fellow agents in the beginning, but has since proven himself time and again, to them, to the city, and to his friends in Forte. Dane has also started a relationship with Stacy McKone, the Forte Museum research specialist that shares his obsession with super-life.
