Misery Love

First Appearance: Forte 2000: "The Storm"

A former soldier turned bounty hunter turned private investigator, Misery Love is the owner of The Misery Love Company, a P.I. firm that she's also the sole employee of. She first met Seattle Vice Detective Jared Banks back when he was undercover and their paths crossed, a partnering that nearly got them both killed. They continued to work together as his police career played out and ended, and when he became the armored hero Seahawk, she was one of the only ones he confided this fact to. He continued to use her as a contact as he joined the new Forte incarnation, and Misery became both a trusted ally and friend to the team. Misery is an expert in hand-to-hand combat and the use of arms. She has contacts--willing and unwilling--all over Seattle, drives a vintage Mustang, is known for her patented black leather trenchcoat, and is not someone whose bad side you want to be on.
