Walter Mane

First Appearance: Forte 2000 #146

Little is known about Walter Mane, apparently a high-ranking member of the ancient order of crimefighters called "The Blade Runners". The aging British man commands unswerving loyalty from his people that he seems to have earned. He's dedicated fully to the order's beliefs, but has also shown a willingness to compromise and look outside the box that his fellows haven't. Forte first encountered him in Rome when both groups were seeking to unravel the mystery of Shade's death, and the uneasy alliance ended with his voicing willingness to work with them again in the future if the need arose.
