"Dr. Jackal"

As his super-hero alter-ego Dr. Jackal, Jack Parker was one of the original founders of the Forte in 1987. He was with the team for many years, and became the team's father figure and an internationally renowed superstar. In his early days, he was wild and hedonistic, loving all the perks and women that came with his fame. He began to settle down when he fell in love with a new teammate named Knightsabre (Sabrina Knight), and the two eventually married. They had twin daughters together, but unknown to them, there was a triplett that was mystically taken away at conception by the evil Lucifer D'Arque and raised in hellish dimension outside of time. The girl became the villainess known as Hellequin (and/or Black Rose). He only discovered this just before her death at the hands of one of his teammates. But years later, an extra-dimensional hunt for Lucifer D'Arque led him to an alternate Earth (one whose time was 15 years in the future), where he discovered his lost daughter again...here called Samatha Parker, and a young woman. Her father--that world's Dr. Jackal--had died several years before. After the two of them and assembled heroes from both worlds helped destroy D'Arque forever, she returned with him to Forte's Earth, and soon became the heroine Nightsable, who would go on to join a new incarnation of her father's team...Forte.

Jack Parker, a former journalist, is now the editor-in-chief of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer and a best-selling author. He has retired from his heroing (except in times of need), and still lives in Seattle with his wife Sabrina (also retired) and his teenage twins Monique and Nichole...as well as with Samantha, who lives with the family. He supports the new team in any way he can, and is honored to have this new group carrying on the Forte name.
