Rep. Sam Seaborn

Sam was born into the wealthy Gotham City socialite Seaborn family, one of their two sons. He, the eldest, followed his fathers footsteps into law, doing his undergraduate studies at Princeton and going on to Duke. His career took an unexpected turn when he chose to join up in a presidential campaign and ended up the White House Deputy Communications Director. Another twist of events led him to run for congress in Southern California's Orange County, where he won by a narrow margin and continues to serve. Sam's younger brother, Paul, disappointed their parents by becoming a bomb squad police officer in Gotham, and then, after a tragedy there, moving to Seattle and becoming a simple high school chemistry teacher. Neither Sam nor his parents are aware, to date, that Paul is actually the Forte hero Vortex.
