Raised in ways of the secret order he was born into, Egyptian Hisham Selim has pledged his life--and death, if need be--to being a member of the Brotherhood of Horus. In pre-dynastic Egypt, when Homi Magi still walked the Earth, a great struggle between the boy-god Horus and his evil elder brother, Anubis, ended when Anubis mystically cast himself into the far future. Horus had himself sealed in a magic sarcophagus, placed in hibernation until such future time that Anubis would reappear. Hisham, descended from Horus' priests, and his fellows are charged with the protection of the sarcophagus, and the preparation to do battle with Anubis and his own followers--the Priests of Anubis--when the day finally arrives. A fierce warrior, a gentle soul and a devout believer, Hisham joined with the American hero team Forte to fight Anubis and end his schemes once and for all.
