Warren Tether

Seeing his own family murdered by the Nazi regime as a small child, the man who would immigrate to America and take the name Warren Tether never let go of the memory, nor the lifelong obsession for justice for all men, at any cost, it instilled in him. He became a hugely successful man of industry, eventually becoming a billionaire, and the Tether Corporation became an international monolith. Tether himself became very well-known for his staggering charitable works, and gained much of the globe's respect. But what the public didn't know was that Tether was using his vast fortune to form essentially his own intelligence agency, and clandestine force of operatives throughout the world that carried out missions at his command--missions to bring justice to those those that justice had failed. Dictators and warlords would fall. Drug lords would be eliminated. Murderers who slipped through the judicial system would find retribution for their crimes. As times changed and the super-powered age overtook the world, he began to see the need to have similar operatives for himself. One of those operatives would be a man in an armored suit designed by his company, a suit they had dubbed "Seahawk". The man he found to wear the suit was Jared Banks, a fallen police officer that shared Tether's belief in justice before the law.

Tether operates out of the Tether Corporation's home office in Seattle, and continues both his quest to make the world a better place through innovation and industry, and to keep it safe from those who think they are above the law. His connection to Seahawk has made him a valuable resource to Forte.
