Blind Rage

A Navy Seal in the Gulf War, Everett Collins was shot down behind enemy lines, and survived, wounded and blind, in a prison camp, where no rescue ever came. One day, he simply began to sense the world around him, without his sight. He eventually escaped and made his way back to America, turning his back on the military as they had turned their back on him, prefering to remain legally dead. He began a criminal career, using his expertise in hand-to-hand fighting along with his new senses to become a sought-after enforcer/mercenary. He began his career in mob work, which made him many enemies (and friends) in that world. Now he takes jobs both local and international, and has gained a reputation as one of the world's deadlier fighters, and has held his own against even costumed heroes. Despite all his success, he's still out to prove that he's still the man he used to be, despite his blindness, and is known to follow his own particular code of honor.
