Deathcry

A brilliant but unstable engineer, Jessica Dawson often lost herself in fantasy novels and other escapes from reality. Feeling somewhat invisible in her life and career, she designed a suit of powered armor for herself, a high-tech yet gothic one, with large imposing wings and deadly sonic projectors, and, taking the name Deathcry for her invented persona, she set out to find recognition as a super-villain. She's desperately protective of the suit, feeling she's nothing without it, and takes on an almost separate personality when she puts it on. Deathcry has fought the Justice Squadron, Northguard, and the latter-day reborn Forte.
