Mr. Dusk

The man known only as "Mr. Dusk" is an ongoing mystery to the Forte team, first crossing their path on their very first adventure, somehow involved with the forces behind the Karrigon invasion (suspected of being a human envoy for the extra-dimensional race, he was the one that personally opened the portal that allowed them access to Earth). A seemingly normal human--one always dressed in stylish European suits and sunglasses--he uses both technology and magic (energy pistols to spells) to deadly effect, and seems always calm and fearless. And has an annoying habit of disappearing through mystical portals just when he's close to capture. Forte has suspected that he's involved with industrialist (and suspected criminal mastermind) Nicholas Ares, but have never been able to prove this or find the two together. Whatever his origins or affiliations, he seems to have a hand in many--and diverse--criminal activities, and continues to be sought out by the members for Forte to answer for his crimes and give up his secrets.
