A full-time criminal and abusive masochist before he ever got powers, Charles Dawson had a taste for the ladies--especially those that were underaged. An ex-con and registered sex offender, he volunteered for experiments with a mobster's hired geneticist and gained incredible strength and bulk. Taking the name Render, he struck out on his own as a villain and started working his way toward his fortune, taking great pleasure in battling super-heroines around the nation. When not found in a strip club somewhere, Render hires himself out to the highest bidder, and has earned a reputation that has gotten him a number of very serious beatings from heroines, including Forte's Dyna Girl.
